Description
I took this just as the monarch closed its wings, but even though I was looking for the shot with open or partially opened wings, I really liked the way this turned out, as it was different from the norm, and that is me, as I like to be different from the norm. LOL Looked like it was worthy of posting, so hope you enjoy this variation of a closed wing monarch on an echinacea, or cone flower!

Didn't quite get the wing span I wanted, but then I do like the folded wings on this particular shot with the cone flower. Glad you liked it!
