Photo was taken during an art show in central Wisconsin, where amongst the beautiful works of artwork displayed, there were many varieties of orchids, which I took the photo op, and captured many of them.

Thanks so much Judy, as I love orchids, and this was taken at a gallery in Stevens Point Wisconsin, Riverfront Galleries, where once per year, coming up soon, they display loads of local artwork and have orchids for show and sale during this special event/

RANDY, THESE VIOLET ORCHIDS JUST POP OUT AGAINST THE DARK BLACK BACKGROUND, WITH ALL THEIR TEXTURE AND GREAT DETAIL! I THINK THE LIGHT REFLECTING OFF THIS ORCHID COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM! This was taken in an art gallery locally, during an Artists' Reception that my wife and I were invited to, as we some works on display. They fill the gallery with beautiful works, but also with orchids of many sizes and colors, and I think I capture all of them. This is one! No, not droplets of dew or rain, but maybe a few tears of joy for the experience!!! LOL

Thanks George, as this was taken at an open house Artists' Reception that my wife and I attended at the Riverfront Art Gallery in Stevens Point, WI, and each year, beside the beautiful artworks, they have orchids on display and for sale. I think I took a photo of each one of the many they had available. Love orchids!
