Description
This photo was taken of a birdhouse cupola, which is about ready to disappear in our landscape due to deterioration, and thus wanted to capture this beautiful work of yesteryear!

Glad I took a quick shot to preserve its beauty, as when passing by the old house, it is all gone the house, lovely cupola, and all, so glad I got at least one quick shot.

I really like it too, Sandra, as it is atop of a house that is soon to be demolished, and wanted to save this for others to see, as it is rather local in its location. I would like to thank you very much for stopping by our website and taking your time to view some of our works! It is a true honor that you chose to comment on one of my shots, as it truly means the world to me. Your visit, support, and gracious comment are both very welcomed and much appreciated! Forever, Elvis

Thanks much, Sandi, as this is a rare op as the building is about to be torn down, and I love saving things for posterity whenever possible. Glad you liked this one! Make my heart feel good! Forever, Elvis

Had to capture this before they tore down the humble abode it was attached too, Mary! Hate to see it go, and if possible, I will be there during the demolition, to see if I can salvage this piece for our gardens, but sometimes they do their work, when least expected! Thanks for your supportive v/f and your gracious and welcomed comment! Much appreciated!

Hi Randy- Welcome to the Abandoned and Forlorn group. Hopefully you'll enjoy being a part of us as much as we look forward to having you. I like this a lot. Seems like all the good stuff gets torn down. f/v
