Artist's Description
This was taken over the river and through the woods during a rural village walk! I planted 2 of these this year and mine are dwarfed, in comparison to this beauty, as this was taken at about 100 yards away, and the beauty of the blooms caught my eye, as in a few years, this is what we can look forward to seeing, hopefully, in our front yard. A vanilla/strawberry hydrangea bush starts out with white floral spires, then turns tips of pink, then all the way to deep pink, and even inf all keep shape but are a light brownish color.
About Randy Rosenberger
As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...

Thanks much, Mary, and my mother in law worked at Jungs, alongside the old originator of Jungs, for over 35 years. I HAVE not seen a tree like this, but planted several this spring, and will have to see how they do!

Randy, What a beautiful hydrangea in bloom - absolutely gorgeous floral display! This makes me smile as my grandmother had a hydrangea in her yard that was very similar to this one - good memories :-) Your composition, colors, clarity & lighting are truly amazing. This would make a beautiful painting. This is my choice for the Pay It Forward in the Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery Group. fave and vote
Randy Rosenberger replied:
