RANDY, AS ALWAYS, YOUR IMAGES ARE FANTASTIC TO SAY THE LEAST! I'M A FIRM BELIEVER, A MACRO LENS GETS ALL THOSE LITTLE THINGS OF INTEREST AND BEAUTY THAT THE AVERAGE PERSON RARELY EVER SEES! YOU REALLY DID CAPTURE THE INNER BEAUTY THIS VIOLET AND ALL IT'S VEINS HAS TO OFFER! IF YOU EVER DECIDE YOU WANT TO GET EVEN CLOSER, TRY STACKING A COUPLE OF EXTENSION TUBES TO YOUR CAMERA! YOU WILL BE VERY SURPRISED HOW CLOSE YOU CAN REALLY GET! THE ONLY THING YOU GIVE UP IS DEPTH OF FIELD! ON SOME OF THE PHOTOS I HAVE TAKEN WITH THE EXT. TUBES THE D.O.F. WAS WAS ONLY 1/2" TO 3/4" DEEP. THE CAMERA WILL SHOW YOU WHAT IS IN FOCUS! AGAIN, GREAT SHOT! LES (F/V)
