Description
We love our milkweed "plantation" on a small scale, as we love to watch the monarchs getting pollen from them and the sweet nectar. The fragrance is much similar to lilacs, forsythia, lily of the valley, etc. Also, as you can clearly see, the lovely pinkish florets are quite pretty by themselves, then mixed with the large leaves of the plant, it makes for a nice touch to one's gardens. Just have to tame them to grow where you want them, not leave them pop up where ever they choose to. In clusters, these can add a touch of class to any landscape project.

Hi Sweet Randy, Here in Maine, we art still waiting for our milkweed! I think that I might actually plant a milkweed plant in my yard for the monarch butterflies. This is so pretty and I can smell the flowers through my screen! HAHA! I wish. Take care!
