Description
This was one of 160 photos I shot at a recent Memorial golf outing for Jerry Berkholtz, Gracious father and husband of the two grand people who have taken over the journey of seeing his dream come true. That big step in life is the "Glen Cairn" golf course, located just northeast of Iola, WI. and is cherished by its many members. Each year, they hold a Jerry's memorial golf outing to commemorate the love for the father and husband and friend he was to all. This year I was honored to be the "photographer" and took over 160 photo shots of this very fine event. One of which, was the bagpiper, who come over the hill on green 18, and playing, "Scotland the Brave" on his bagpipe, and it brought many tears of happiness and joy to the attendees, including me! This guy was awesome! I was very honored to be chosen to be a part of this celebration and to be a celebrity amongst so many good friends and people I truly love. The honor goes to "Jerry" and may he rest in peace!

What a gorgeous tartan he is wearing! I wonder which clan it belongs to? I love to hear the sound of the pipes and drums!

What an honor to be the photographer! A wonderfully composed shot! I adore the sound of bagpipes - have ever since my Mom took me to see bagpipers and Scottish dancers in Canada! One bagpiper is great - 100's a thousand fold!

Barbie am trying to vary shots and be sure they are between 200 and 500 views, and other than being laid up lately, I have been doing one per day. Thanks for all the comments and features, as you do a nice job administering your group, and keep it uplifting and changed so not to become stagnant. Love that style. I truly appreciate your gracious and welcomed comments on this piece, and for visiting my website. It is much appreciated. That is what family is all about to support one another, and you surely are doing your part in supporting the artists in our WFS group. I, Personally thank you so much for all of your support, your positive and inspiring comments, and your dedication to our group's success. Forever, Elvis

Randy, I love your angle; the background items echo the angle of the pipe he is fingering. I welcome this photo to the 200 club and congratulate you on your feature here and your hundreds of well-deserved views for this work! L

Thanks much, John, as I got to take this occasion in for past two years, as they asked me to photo shoot this memorial event, and had a nice visit from this grandiose bagpiper, as he is a retired policeman, and was fun to talk to.
