Description
This photo was taken at a recent visit to our Historical Society's Village of Yesteryear, here in Iola, Wisconsin. It is open on Saturdays or by appointment only, and features a restored depot, tracks, tender shed, and caboose, a one room school house, a renovated old town hall, and some fine antiquities within the various buildings. The cost is a donation to the Society, as that is how they pay to keep it up. If ever in the area, be sure to stop, as they also have a replica of an old firehouse, with 3 of the first fire fighting engines in Iola's historical past. A real treat to see and shoots some great photos.

Wouldn't it be nice to find a place like this, living compact, with most necessities, and privacy?

An interesting window on the past! The homes that we are blessed with today would have been beyond the wildest dreams of its inhabitants!
