This photo was taken of the Historic Christie House in Waupaca, WI. It is on the local, state, and national register of historic buildings, and is a truly restored Guilded Age structure, with 18 rooms, 5300 sq. ft. and boasts 4 fireplaces, with gorgeous gardens and grounds, it is reminiscent of a Queen Annes style of architecture. It was built in 1891. It has been totally restored to its original grandeur!

I love to view historic architecture Randy. You have captured this in such an excellent way, with such marvelous perspective and composition. The beautiful tree with the autumn leaves, is the icing on the cake! LF Janet 💕

Randy, what an awesome autumn capture of this Victorian era "painted lady" I Love the earthy color palette on this one, providing a perfect backdrop for this ornamental maple! L&F

Thanks much Mark, as this was a true treasure trove of delightful captures, as it is totally refurbished and a mansion in its time, and the gardens were awesome!

Thanks much David and Carol, as this was a tour we took of an artist we know who renovated this historical beauty built in the late 1800's to its original splendor and along with the revamped gardens, it was an awesome visit!

Thanks so very much, Kay, and if you ever get over this way, and I know ahead of time, we may be able to arrange a tour of this historically restored mansion fro the late 1800's and gardens. Just keep in touch. And, maybe if you get a chance, come see our Annual Art Show and Garden Walk, held each summer on Sunday after Fathers' Day, each year. And maybe you would even decide to join in our event. No cost at all to artists, and you are treated like royalty and "Little Graceland"! LOL Forever, Elvis
