This was taken at our house this year at Christmas time, and Jonah Maesyn, our grandson, who is just over a year and a half, got a John Deer, just like Grandpa's, until he learns to drive my real one and actually help me now the lawn at "Little Graceland"! LOL He probably has more toys than Jimmy Carter had peanuts, but he sure loves them all, takes care of them, and puts toys away when done, and wave bye bye, until next time. What a sweetie pie! Even Grandpa has a crush on this little man!
As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...

I do so remember this one and I bet this handsome little fellow has grown a lot since then. Would love to see a recent of this handsome little fellow. My youngest grandson is about this age nowand also loves tractors and mustn't forget TOY GRILLS, for which he once pretended to make me a pizza loaded with pizza sauce, peanut butter, pickles and other delectables unedibles... Priceless, Randy! I am 84, and I have some John Deare toys, too. They are not this big, so our Great Grandchildren can't ride on them, but several sizes and the I have a John Deere book. Every year that we drove back to Iowa, from California (many years ago) we drove right by the John Deere business and we stopped and bought a John Deere toy - for me. I was a CA. farm girl and my husband is a born Salesman. (bye, bye Farm Life) I wish I had one like this for the Great Grandchildren. Love the Photo and that adorable little boy! V/L

I love this wonderful image and I have John Deere Tractors too. What a wonderful and beautiful little boy! My husband used to buy me the John Deere toys when we drove back to Iowa to see his Mom and his other relatives. I was a California farm girl - a very long time ago! I still have my John Deere toys. Sometimes I let the great Grandchildren play with them! Thank you for the Feature of my Bear!
