This is an old window that was going to the scrap heap, when I rescued it, had it framed and added it as a piece of garden art, Which has raised some eyebrows at our yearly garden walk. Recycling everyday things for garden art has become very popular. You are changing the usage of the material, thus recycling for a greener America.
As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...
