Description
This photo was taken last winter, of a neighbor's silo, no longer in usage, as the farm, itself has been removed from its original habitat, but this very unique and one of a kind type of silo, still remains, as a reminder of the past. It is on a beautifully landscaped lot, with a swimming pool, a very nice home, a garage, and acreage, but this is all that remains, except for the split rail fence, and its integration into the scenery of the past. Love this unique architectural piece of statuary, that is visible to all who drive by it. Hope you enjoy this view, as much as we, the townspeople do.

FANTASTIC, I would so love to see this old piece of history in person. Also I like the way the reds peak through. Beautiful! L/F

Beautifully captured! I particularly like that beautiful blue sky! Unfortunately skies in the UK are nearly always gray during autumn and winter.

This belongs to a friend who lives about a mile from us, and we actually at one time tried to buy the property and turn the silo into my wife's art studio, but he wouldn't sell at the time we needed a place to live. But it is quite cool, and his dreams someday is to make a workshop in this silo. Cool idea huh? I would like to thank you very much for stopping by our website and taking your time to view some of our works! It is a true honor that you chose to comment on one of my shots, as it truly means the world to me. Your visit, support, and gracious comment are both very welcomed and much appreciated!
