Description
This was a shot I took while mopeding one day this fall. It caught my eye due to the bright blue sky and the mixture of three distinct colors in one unblended view! Love the bright orange and the yellow orange and the green from the evergreen, and all within the background of the fall blue and bright sky! Hope you enjoy this view, as much as I did! Happy Fall to All!

From green to gold to brilliant red orange, you have captured the passage of autumn in a single photo. The golds and reds looks so beautiful against a Wisconsin sky. It reminded me of something I read years ago. In "Travels with Charley," John Steinbeck described October light in Wisconsin as like butter, not soft, but crips clear, so that every frost gay tree was set off. He had never seen light like that except in Greece. We truly live in a marvelous place. vf
