Wonderful to see this antique wood chipper. My brother just bought the latest splitter that can take an entire round and split it into numerous pieces in a matter of seconds. My brother would love to see this.

Very Cool!

Artist's Description

This was a pic I took while attending the "Working Wheels" show at the Krause Car Show grounds many years back. It is around the same time of the year as the Military Show that is also held on the Krause grounds. It operates by the use of a steam engine. It was absolutely amazing how fast this man could produce nice sized chunks of wood for campfires, home heating, or heating in any wood stove or wood furnace. The inventor of this unique piece of equipment must have been the talk of the town. Probably a fave among neighbors.

About Randy Rosenberger

Randy Rosenberger

As a retired teacher, having taught for 35 years, I spend a lot of time in our many flower gardens, with water features, metal sculptures, and many flowering trees, bushes and shrubs. My wife gave me a digital camera for a Christmas present a few years ago, and I started taking photos of the many types of flora and fauna on our property. This became an enjoyable hobby for me, to enjoy the outdoors, and capture some of the beautiful photo opportunities that our gardens have provided. I especially love close-ups of flowers and insects, and basically anything that has something unique to capture on film. I have entered several contests in our area, and even won some recognition with my photos. I have posted on Face Book and am now...
